11:26 pm - I don't think I could cut it much closer. I've been on the go all day. I went to school this morning to work on the project again. A lot of people showed up today - Pat and his team (John, Scott, Luke, Aaron) were all there. It was good to see all the guys - God, I haven't seen Pat IRL in ages. I told everybody we'd throw a party at my place at the end of May, when project management is over. Pat may havce one too - he has a pool, apparently, so I'm rooting for a party at his place.
The team found a fantastic tutorial on how to make Flash side-scrolling games today - a real boost, as it will help guide our art asset and code production significantly. I'm really looking forward to getting my office set up. I miss my computer; the last few posts I've made have been on Christine's laptop. Once the office and my PC are set up, I think the team will be meeting more often at my place. The computers at school are a little too clunky to work efficiently. I have a wireless motherboard so I can set up an access point, and Emily and Brandon can connect wirelessly with their laptops.
The rest of my day was spent putting up curtains and and building bookcases. The living room is starting to come together; all of the colors that Christine and I picked out look fantastic. The rug in particular is really cool - I'll have to take some pictures once we unpack the camera. We also just got the bed together and are presently lying in it. Christine is as snug as a bug under a big poofy duvet; I'm lying on top of it with the laptop, typing furiously. We just had some sushi from Hamachi Kita, a little restaurant no more than 1 minute away from our front door, and we are both ready for bed. We have another early day tomorrow; we're driving to Truro with Christine's brother Steven to pick up the rest of Christine's stuff. I want to start on the office (and I still might unpack a few boxes) but my body is definitely being the shutdown cycle.
The IMBC has narrowed to 3 competitors - me, Pat, and Hammy. The difference a month makes. Good luck, you guys.
Convenient sushi is one of the best parts of our neighborhood.
Hey! I only joined Vox so I could comment on my boyfriend's blog "Gaming Zen." My true blog can be found here: http://wonky-eye.blogspot.com It's focus is health, nutrition and the environment from the perspective of someone who is studying Holistic Nutrition in school. Take a quick peek... you might even learn something! :-)
I used to worry that I had lost my one true love to YTMND. Three days ago I realized that YTMND was nothing. My real concern should be The Blog. But hey, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. So here I am - ready to take the blogging world by storm, or something like that anyway...
